A Practical Guide to Quality Control at Chinese Factories
"Made in China" does not mean "low quality" — but only if you have an on-the-ground QC process that actually works.
JiuMo's quality control system spans the entire pipeline, from factory selection to shipment. The core is a four-step inspection protocol:
Step 1: First Article Inspection (FAI) — before bulk production begins, test the first sample for all dimensions and functions. This is your last window to catch tooling errors or process flaws.
Step 2: During Production Inspection (DPI) — pull samples when 20–50% of the order is complete. Deviations caught at this stage can still be corrected. Finding them at pre-shipment is too late.
Step 3: Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) — conduct full-lot sampling to AQL standards (typically AQL 1.5–2.5). If the defect rate exceeds the threshold, we reject the shipment.
Step 4: Container Loading Supervision — verify that approved goods are loaded exactly as inspected, with no swapping or substitution.
We are on-site at every step. Every photo, every test report, every non-conformance — shared with you in real time. Not a remote 'we were told' — but an on-the-ground 'we confirmed.'
We don't say 'quality is fine.' We say 'today's DPI pass rate is 98.7%. AQL report attached.'
